Things are going great!
It has become a lot easier to stick to good eating habits without too much temptation. Planning ahead is key for me. If I know I'm going to be gone during a meal time I either take a protein shake with me or eat before I go. Jason isn't quite as on board with the diet as me. He has a bit of a safety net because he gets full so fast. He knows that he can't eat too much of anything so he feels it's okay or safe to eat it. I'm hoping he sees how wrong that thinking is soon. That mentality is how he gained so much weight to begin with. He hasn't gained anything but he hasn't really lost anything in the last 2 months and he's still about 30lbs away from his goal. He's been going to the gym every day with me though so I expect he'll see a drop in the lbs soon.
I've made it to the gym 4 days in a row and plan on going again tonight after scouts. It feels good to push my muscles. I've been sore but it feels good. It's amazing how much strength I've lost over the last few years. When Jason and I were working out all the time about 6 years ago I could bench 90+ pounds without any problem. Now I'm lucky if I can do 3 sets of 50. I know I'll get back to where I was and probably even stronger.

I started a post workout supplement to help with muscle recovery. I tend to get really sore so I'm hoping this helps. It increases my daily carb intake but I'm okay with that. I researching the best protein supplement to add as well.
I'll post pictures of all my supplements as well as a yummy Greek yogurt chicken salad recipe I found tomorrow.
Until then....
